Vegie Tikoy

Glutinous rice flour
Pinch of salt
Grated carrots
Grated squash
Sesame seeds
Water as needed
Small amount of coconut oil

Proportions are not necessary and dependent on the preference of consumer. I love a less sweet and more vegie one so i usually indulged on the vegie ingredients as long as the flour could hold them together.

Mix glutinous rice flour with the water-salt-cocohoney solution until a gluey consistency is achieved. Mix in the peanuts, carrots and squash and stir for even mixture. Glazed cooking pan with the coconut oil. Transfer the mixture into the glazed pan. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Steam for 30-45 minutes depending on the volume. Let cool and enjoy a healthy tikoy.
