Hours of waiting in LTO

Part of an organized society is so called getting licenses to use the roads.

In the Philippines it means waiting long unpredictable hours either standing inline under the scorching heat of the sun or sitting on hard benches in a very hot and humid and congested spaces. Comfort in public service agencies is one sided setup. The aircons and fans and comfortable seats are only for the employees. While those served are sweating their day outside in the most uncomfortable space where the heat emitted by the aircons used inside is adding up to the already heated up waiting area.

Mind you unpredictability could stretch for a week depending on the crowd. Especially if you are a newbie.

What is amazing is the crowd being served, despite the great discomfort, all are patient and calm and seemingly undisturbed. Probably centering into their beings so as to reduce the discomfort? I dont know. While I am fidgety and interchangeably reading a book, checking my emails and other apps, and writing blogs. I wish I have their patience.
